​ARKANSAS RUNNING KLUB
Arkansas Running Klub (ARK) of North Little Rock is a non-profit organization of runners and walkers of all ages and backgrounds, who share a common interest in physical fitness and better health.  ARK seeks to promote these interests in the Central Arkansas community by holding regular meetings, training runs and races. ARK is a great way to meet other runners and reach your fitness goals.

   ARKANSAS RRCA GRAND PRIX UPDATE

The next Grand Prix race is the Andy Buschmann 4 Mile Classic on June 7th in Batesville.  Formerly the White River 4 Mile Classic and HealthSouth 4 Mile Classic, this race is now named for Andy Buschmann, the local running man seen everywhere about town trotting out the miles in his steady gait. He and his buddy Jack Heston ran every version of the race since its founding in 1978 until COVID took Andy from us in 2021. The AB4MC course is USATF certified and officially in the RRCA Arkansas Grand Prix XLII Series for 2025. Proceeds from the race are donated to local charities serving Independence County.

Please remember to read the participant standards before registering! And remember that people must be registered for the Grand Prix the Friday morning before the race that they want to receive points for.

  • The ARK Rundown is your newsletter:               Running related articles and pictures are always welcome. If you're a new member, let us know something about yourself, especially regarding your running.
